In recent weeks, you may have seen images on TV of the severe flooding in Peru.  Our two Sisters in Chulucanas, in the Province of Piura, have been daily involved with helping the many victims of the devastating floods in this area.  Sister Viviana Kidamasi, from Fiji, has served in Latin America for more than 30 years.  Sister Kieoma Finau has served in other mission areas, and arrived in Peru two years ago.  According to a report they sent us last week, in the Province of Piura there were at least 24 dead, and millions who are now homeless, sheltering in tents, church halls and schools.

If you would like to read the full report sent by Sr Kieoma, click on the image below and you can download this PDF document.
