R.I.P. SR. MARY ANNE FAUCHER, SMSM

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of Sr. Mary Anne Faucher (Sr. M. Mark Lawrence), who peacefully departed this life on December 7, 2025, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts.

Sr. Mary Anne was born on June 7, 1941, in Brevard, North Carolina. She devoted her life to service and faith, being professed as a Missionary Sisters of the Society of Mary on March 9, 1962, in Bedford, MA. Throughout her remarkable journey, she was missioned to various places, including Peru and Rwanda, Africa. She also served as a member of the General Council and ministered with the impactful program “WATCH,” which assisted senior citizens in securing affordable housing here in Massachusetts. The wake and funeral arrangements will be communicated at a later time. In the meantime, let us remember her contributions and the love she shared with all of us.
