On January 1st, 2020, many Marist Missionary Sisters in Massachusetts gathered at our central house in Waltham for a special Mass and celebration to mark a transition in leadership for the Region of the Americas.

Completing a three year term of office were Sister Mary Jane Kenney and her Council: Sisters Joyce Ann Edelmann, Telesia Kauhalaniua and Helen Muller. Sister Helen has been appointed as the new Regional Leader, with Sisters Michelle DeSilva,Patricia Phillips and Prista Haga as her Council for the next three years.

We were pleased to have our congregational leader, Sister Georgeanne Marie Donovan, who was visiting from Rome, present for this occasion.

We all joined in prayers of thanksgiving for the generosity of these Sisters who have agreed to serve the congregation in this way. We ask all of our friends around the world to join us in praying that each one receive the spiritual gifts that she needs at this time.
