The leadership teams of the four Regions of our congregation (Asia-Pacific, Oceania, Africa-Euope, and the Americas) are currently meeting in Waltham, Massachusetts with Sr. Georgeanne Marie Donovan, our congregational leader and her council. The main aim of this gathering is to prepare for the General Chapter of the Congregation that will take place next year in Rome.
This 10 day meeting is truly a "family reunion" as Sisters from the Waltham area gathered to welcome Sisters that they knew when they lived overseas and to make some new friends, too. Cardinal Sean O'Malley, archbishop of Boston, celebrated the opening Mass.
